Least We Forget
Remember when not many years ago (When was it?) we all awoke to a frightful image playing out live on our television sets. We were all so shocked and dismayed that such a atrocity could take place within our own borders. It was personal to each and every one of us. Our country had been attacked by an enemy that most of us never knew existed.
Yet today most of us go about our lives as if this had never happened. Although it effected some changes in our society we have quickly come to accept them as the norm of the day. It is as if we believe this could never happen again. Of course we never thought it would happen in the first place.
Know for certain that we have real enemies out there who have a real desire to inflict damage on our country and our individual selves. Terrorism is a serious threat and we must all be prepared to sacrifice to combat it. Support your troops who put their lives on the line daily for your personal security.
Holiday Season
